A ONE-NIGHT-ONLY CELEBRATION
THREE DECADES OF INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY IN NEW YORK
FRIDAY JANUARY 30, 2026
WSA, 180 MAIDEN LANE - 8:30 PM TO LATE
MUSIC - DRINKS - DANCING
HISTORY
Taking flight in the mid-late 90s Silicon Alley emerged in the neighborhoods of Flatiron and Soho – blending tech, media, and creativity into a distinctly urban startup scene that could only exist in New York.
Early pioneers like DoubleClick and Razorfish paved the way for generational-defining tech leaders that would soon follow: Bitly, Etsy, Datadog, Giphy, Kickstarter, MongoDB, Venmo, and more. Today, Silicon Alley is defined by our uniquely diverse and community-driven culture – an ecosystem that spans every major industry to drive the world forward from art to fashion, finance or healthcare, sports or entertainment.

CELEBRATION
Join us for a vibrant celebration marking 30 Years of Silicon Alley. From the early dot-come days to today's dynamic tech ecosystem, this milestone honors the pioneers who launched, and the builders who continue to shape, NYC's distinctive tech industry.
Hosted in The Seaport, a historic location connecting old New York to new, the evening party brings together 1,000+ founders, funders, creatives, and community members for a night of music, mingling, dancing, and surprise moments.
Through storytelling, music, and connection, we'll celebrate the past, present, and future of NYC tech. Not just as a history, but as a living moment that continues to define the city's future.
THE STORY OF 30+ YEARS...
This community-led initiative tells this story through a beautifully curated commemorative Zine, edited by Cyndi Stivers, that captures oral histories, key milestones, artifacts, and the cultural evolution of Silicon Alley.
A big thanks to our hosts, contributors, and sponsors
